I'm sure there's not a soul that would even read this, but anyway, I read through some of my old posts. It was an interesting read. It's like seeing yourself in the future. Except the "future" is actually the present, and the "present" is actually over a year ago. If that even makes sense...
I realize now how emotional I got. And I can be so philosophical. Then there are those "what happened today" posts; I obviously had a lot of time in my hands. Nowadays, I barely have time for homework! The game reviews, the music reviews, and the random things that make up my life.
I miss blogging. It's really nice to be able to read your thoughts from a year or two ago. So I'm going to try my best to return to blogging, with a few changes.
I'm changing my username to beeJ, which is my real life nickname (derived from BJ). We all know what the acronym means, but let's keep it mature. This would make it a little bit more personal than using 2Perfect/TwoPerfect. I might change the URL as well. I wont change the title because BJ in the title might make it sound like an adult website :P And in accordance to making it more personal, I'll also make it a little bit more informal.
I will only blog when I can. I used to push hard to blog daily, which might have been one of the reasons I stopped. I wont blog about everything. I used to stop what I'm doing and blog whenever something interesting comes up. Now I will only blog if I happen to have the time. Perhaps I can just make an irregular post about "things that interested me recently", without expanding on each topic.
And finally, one of the main reasons I'm returning: I'm going to link this blog to a personal website (currently inexistent) and post progress on personal projects (that I haven't even thought of). I was told by a career coordinator during a resume session that I should post samples of my work on a personal website. Until now I've deleted everything I've made after it became uninteresting. But I think a personal website is a great idea.
I might also revamp the tag system and split it into more general categories (like personal, work, school, etc.) and make it similar to Lifehacker's system where each post only belongs in one category.
We'll see...
